The Galerie GRÖLLE passprojects was founded in September 2010 by Jürgen Grölle in Wuppertal,
close to the river Wupper in an old historical factory building.
The focus is on exhibitions of contemporary painting, sculpture and installations.
Through exhibition cooperations, residences and events in the field of performance and
experimental music, we connected the artists internationally.
Since October 2016, another exhibition area of 100 sqm has been added: RAUM2
RAUM2 is a project space for young artistic and curatorial positions.

In February 2023, Galerie GRÖLLE expanded to include a branch in Düsseldorf, where mainly contemporary art is exhibited. RAUM2 in Wuppertal has been closed.
